Product details

The opto/coax converter converts optical digital signals into electrical digital signals. For example, it can connect a CD, MD, DVD player, or DAT recorder with optical digital output to an amplifier with coax/RCA digital input. It features a Toslink input socket for connecting an optical fiber cable modulated with a wavelength of 670 nm. The RCA output socket provides a 1.6 Vss digital level PCM standard (AC 3 compatible) at 44.1 kHz. The power supply required is non-stabilized (6 V/300 mA) or stabilized (9 V/300 mA), and it is not included.
