The JDS Labs Atom DAC 2 is a high-performance digital-to-analog converter designed to fully utilize the capabilities of the Atom Amp 2 or Atom Amp+ and ensure that these amplifiers deliver their full power. It features USB Type-C and TOSLINK inputs and operates with updatable XMOS-based firmware supporting UAC2 and UAC1 fallback for maximum compatibility. A subtle light ring provides visual feedback during use, automatically turning off during inactivity and quietly activating when needed. With an improved I/V stage, the DAC operates more efficiently and runs cooler, housed in a durable anodized aluminum case that can be personalized with engravings. This model is ideal for enhancing audio setups and offers reliable performance in a compact black design suitable for various audio-visual applications.
