Product details

Create unforgettable memories with a mirrorless camera that lies securely in your hand. Brilliant colours even in low light. A familiar pose from a new angle.
Shadow play with high standing sun. With the light and flexible Nikon Z 50 mirror-less camera, you can capture brilliant photos and breathtaking movies. The camera is fast, powerful and easy to use. The large diameter of the Nikon Z bayonet allows the 20.9 megapixel DX format sensor to capture more light in any angle of the image field. And more light means more details. Whether by day or by night - the colours in photos and films are more brilliant. They're catching more depth. The sharpness is breathtaking. Always hot. From every angle. You'll succeed in perfectly focused photos and 4K movies. The hybrid autofocus is fast, precise and extremely smooth. The AF points on the sensor cover 90 percent of the image area horizontally and vertically (approx.) - for continuously sharp images. The focus captures motifs in the middle as well as at the edge of the frame and even follows motifs in motion.

Thanks to the ISO range of 100-51 200 and "low light autofocus", you can shoot day and night from your hand. Whether you're shooting street scenes at night or portraits in low light, the Z 50 captures more detail than ever before. From now on you will be able to create even more natural portraits. The intelligent eye AF focuses on the eyes of the person portrayed - even in a crowd. The sharpness is also safely maintained for people in motion. The Nikon Z 50 focuses quietly and has a silent shutter release. So you can take pictures anywhere without disturbing. With the Nikon Z 50, filming becomes child's play. Record movies in 4K/UHD with 30p and slow motion in Full HD. Use the entire width of the sensor in DX format without trimming. You can also take photos as you film and create impressive 4K time-lapse sequences right in the camera. With the ultra-sharp electronic viewfinder (EVF), you'll always have everything in view, whether you're shooting or filming. In the EVF, you can have the image displayed lifelike as in the optical viewfinder of a D-SLR. Or you can select a display that already takes the selected settings into account in the preview. The display always remains blur-free, even when magnified to check focus.
