Hello It's been a while. I was able to transfer the videos with the Grabber and play them - with relatively poor quality. Sorry, but I can't remember what tricks I had to use to do this. With kind regards

Helpful answer

I had 2 older video grabbers that were no longer recognised under Windows 11. So I bought this "newer model" and it was recognised in Windows 11. - Unfortunately, I had to realise after the purchase that my 40-year-old HI-8 camcorder had given up the ghost.

As far as I know, the software would still have to be downloaded via the Internet, at least the latest version. But they are both the same age, just in different versions.

As far as I know, a "video capture software" is needed, there are various possibilities online. Once this is installed and started, the "input" source can be selected - in your case the camera. After that, the data (audio/video) from the camera should be displayed on the PC and can be edited/saved accordingly.
