That's exactly how it is. Even outside is not one bit better (on the Netgear Nighthawk anyway). But: I have also tried it with other antennas on the Nighthawk: No change (but only fiddling). LG

first of all, i don't have an extension... because the antenna bridges everything so that you can have 4g with the Netgear air... stick it to the window... or to the window frame or close to it. that's how i did it. just by hanging an antenna on it, the reception is much better...

This is a 3G/4G MIMO antenna. I don't know where the pen that created the product page got the idea that this is a WLAN antenna. This antenna is used, for example, to directly improve the signal of an aircard (3G/4G reception) and not the WLAN itself.

You probably could. However, this antenna uses TS-9 connectors. The E3372 uses CRC9 connectors. So that would be a little loose. -> http://www.lte-anbieter.info/lte-hardware/ts9-vs-crc9.php Unfortunately, Digitec does not seem to offer CRC9 antennas or TS-9 to CRC9 adapters (they are not a specialist in this). CRC9 to SMA adapters are still available: Upgrade Solutions Ltd. pigtail coax cable: SMA female-CRC9 male Delock Pigtail Coax Cable: SMA female-CRC9 male (mobile phone antenna)
