3D Fiber Splicing Device OPTIX Splicer Pro

The OPTIX Splicer PRO is a 3D fiber splicing device designed for daily use. It is compact, lightweight, portable, and suitable for all types of installations. Splicing can be performed in a protective box that shields the device from contamination of sensitive parts. The construction is very robust, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Splicing is done using a core-to-core alignment technology.

The OPTIX Splicer PRO is unique in its use of various splice holder combinations for different fiber types. The splice holders significantly simplify fiber preparation. Typical loss for SM fibers is 0.02 dB. After splicing, a tensile test is performed, and splice loss is determined. The display shows information regarding the preparation phase (bad fiber, dirty fiber, excessive deviation). The simple operation with three buttons is accessible to everyone, and the installed Czech language facilitates the work.
