Does such a device also work better in the Swiss mountains than a mobile phone (where mobile phone reception is generally somewhat poor)?
cannot offer better reception like a mobile phone but better transmission rates in general like a mobile phone, as it is only made for that.
Why should it have better reception?
It's simply a mobile phone without a display that provides internet access to other devices via wifi.
