The temperature switch of the hot plate features a full circle, maintaining a temperature of 80° to 85° C for 6 to 10 cups, as well as a three-quarter circle for maintaining this temperature for less than 6 cups.

The glass carafe with the mixing lid and integrated funnel makes stirring the coffee unnecessary before serving. This way, the temperature is maintained longer, and better mixing is achieved.

The filter holder of the KBG, KBGT, CD, and CDGT models is equipped with an automatic drip stop system. The filter holder automatically closes when the coffee carafe is removed. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the carafe and filter holder are in the correct position.

In all models, the main heating element is turned off after the brewing process is completed. In models equipped with an auto-off switch, the hot plate is automatically turned off after 2 hours.
