Blackboard

Gregor Stumpf as a sports scientist and Lars Grandjot as a physiotherapist worked together in a physiotherapy clinic in Cologne. When treating patients and athletes, they quickly realized the role an intact foot plays. From his own experience, Lars could also tell a thing or two about it: Years of problems after twisting his ankle once demanded a new treatment method. This is how the idea for the BlackBoard came about. After a two-year development phase, the BlackBoard prototype was ready for an extended series of tests. In therapy and prevention, this tool offered completely new approaches to help people with long-term conditions. Patients, therapists and physicians readily accepted the BlackBoard and endorsed the concept. The BlackBoard is still produced with pride and high quality in its birthplace, Cologne.
