Lowa

Lowa is the market leader in mountain footwear in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, producing nearly three million pairs of shoes a year. Founded in 1923, the company began as a tiny factory run by Bavarian cobbler Lorenz Wagner (hence the name: Lowa), who made heavy work shoes for his neighbors in the small village of Jetzendorf. To this day, the shoe factory's headquarters are located there, and Lowa has enjoyed one success after another throughout the company's nearly 100-year history. The best-selling model, the Renegade GTX Mid, was even voted into the mountaineering gear hall of fame by Backpacker magazine in 2018. However, Lowa not only offers the highest quality in hiking boots for children and adults, but also in winter shoes, multifunctional shoes and leisure boots. Not to forget the work shoes, with which the company history of Lowa began.
