Scholl

The history of Scholl began in Chicago in 1899. William Mathias Scholl began working in a small shoe shop at the age of 17, specializing in comfortable shoes. In 1904 he patented his first invention: the "Foot-Eazer". At that time it was a revolutionary product. The insole supported the arch of the foot and provided good foot support. In 1907, he founded Scholl Manufacturing Co. Inc. and today Scholl continues to pursue the same passion and philosophy of its founder: to improve people's health, comfort and well-being.
