In 2011, VQ (then known as View Quest) launched the original Retro radio - a DAB / DAB + digital radio and Apple docking station. The original Retro was designed to change the market, a multifunctional product available in a range of colors, very concerned about the design. Popular with the public and the press alike, the radio even won a prestigious What HiFi Award.
The classic line of success brings success that is never truer than in the history of VQ, than in the years since we have worked hard to produce more and more incredible products that always win awards and your hearts.
The one thing we have always put at the heart of our design is choice. Many think we are crazy for offering you such a wide range of colors and finishes. We don't think it's crazy, we built everything in our store to give you that choice because we believe it's important. You will live with our radios and speakers for a lifetime and we want them to be an expression of your own taste and style.
As part of this mission to give you choice and deliver products that make you want to have them in your home, we have also been able to forge relationships with designer brands that are loved by millions of people around the world. We design and manufacture products in collaboration with; Emma Bridgewater, Laura Ashley, Lulu Guinness and many more designer names are lining up.
Eventually our product range grows out; radio to docking stations, Bluetooth speakers to multiroom systems. We stay true to our founding principle. It has to be something that looks and sounds good enough for Jonathan to have in his home.
