The new Lego sets for 2026 are here. I present a selection of the sets: from architecture and superhero adventures to technology.
Fans know that Lego always makes a big splash at the start of the year. Over 100 new sets are currently landing in our shop. There's probably something for every taste and budget.
«Architecture» and «Art»
With the Architecture sets, you can bring world-famous landmarks and buildings directly into your living room. Now Paris is included. The Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre are created from 958 pieces against a nocturnal city backdrop. The 30 × 27 × 5 centimetre model is designed for all fans aged twelve and over.
The Art series combines building with art. The «Japanese cherry blossom landscape» takes you to the Far East. The age recommendation is eight years and up, but the 1892 pieces seem like a lot for beginners. In any case, the end result is a three-dimensional work of art with Mount Fuji, a teahouse, Manchurian cranes and the Japanese maple «Sango kaku». A pretty detail: a waterfall pours out over the frame. At 39 centimetres high and 35 centimetres wide, the display case is an eye-catcher on the shelf.
New products from Lego Botanical
The Botanical collection brings plants into the home that can never wither. The new sets offer different levels of difficulty. Children aged nine and over will probably not be overwhelmed by the 133 parts of the daisies. The «bouquet of tulips» is much more challenging with more than 500 pieces and therefore something for older children or adults. You can customise the stems of the flowers to create individual arrangements. The longest tulip measures an impressive 36 centimetres. There is an exotic touch with a «flowering cactus». This set also has around 500 pieces.
Lego City
Children between the ages of six and nine can find everything in Lego City that is also available in the world of the grown-ups.
The «airport with aeroplane» is the big City highlight for children aged eight and over. 887 pieces make up a detailed airport terminal with baggage scanner, rotating metal detector gate and departure display. The passenger aeroplane has a fold-down staircase. There is also a tug and gangway. Nine minifigures bring the 28 centimetre high, 37 centimetre wide and 24 centimetre deep set to life.
The «airport fire engine» offers pure action for kids aged seven and over. 691 parts make up a realistic fire engine with 360-degree swivelling extinguishing arm and detailed cabin for four firefighters. You can remove the engine, steer with the wheel and spray water elements. The impressive vehicle measures 11 × 31 × 8 centimetres.
Three figures, a wheelbarrow and a road sign are part of the «concrete mixer» for construction site life. It is built from 371 parts and features a large drum and a worm pump. The cab tilts forwards so that you can take a look at the engine. And to ensure that the «concrete» finds its destination, the chute on the vehicle can be moved. The model is just under ten centimetres high and 22 centimetres long.
Apropos «Action»: The «combi set with aeroplane, maintenance vehicle and hovercraft» offers three rescue vehicles that have to be put together from 990 parts. Children aged seven and over can also combine the elements to create new emergency vehicles.

The «coastguard lifeboat with helicopter» actually floats. The set contains 742 building blocks. The large (18 × 42 × 16 centimetres) boat has a removable upper deck, the bridge, sleeping quarters and a kitchen. The helicopter takes off from the landing deck. The inflatable lifeboat slides down a small ramp into the water. The crew consists of five minifigures and a dog.
The «cool speedsters» offer plenty of variety for younger Lego fans of primary school age. The models are all around ten centimetres long and are easy to assemble with less than 100 parts. The popular police and fire brigade genres are included as well as a sleek racing car.
The Creator sets
The special feature of the series for children aged seven and over is the three options in each set. The basic shape can be rebuilt with the help of the instructions. So there is triple the building and playing fun.
The «turtle with water lily» consists of 124 pieces that can be transformed into either a chameleon or a frog. The set «Hamster with flower» contains 166 pieces and instead of the hamster with a rotating head, there is a hedgehog or an eagle with a nest. 268 pieces make up a «retro game console». The handheld console has a movable joystick and video game modules. Or it can be converted into a mini PC with keyboard or gaming machine.
Children should be a little older for the more sophisticated sets in the series. The «Colourful hummingbird» consists of 312 pieces and reaches a height of 16 centimetres on the stand. The variants are a butterfly or a tropical fish.
With more than 500 building blocks, children will have a little longer to put together the two dolphins with movable fins. The set can be rebuilt into a seahorse or a crab.
And dinosaurs are always popular with this age group. A velociraptor can move its jaws, head and legs. Stegosaurus or pterosaurs offer variety in this set.
Lego Disney
Lego is doing some model maintenance around the world of Disney characters. The number of sets is manageable. Marie from the «Aristocats» comes in a gift box. Her head, tail and ears are movable and the pink bow on her neck is detachable. Gimmicks include a mouse, a brush and a fish.
«Arielle's Magical Mini Castle» fits in every pocket. 179 pieces make up a hinged castle with a grotto that can be opened and closed with a key. Arielle, Fabius and Sebastian explore the 13 centimetre high, eight centimetre wide and nine centimetre deep castle and take a ride on the little boat. The set is designed for children aged five and over.
Two sets take you into the world of «Frozen». Olaf the snowman and Bruni the salamander go on a trip with their colourful picnic blanket. Olaf can move his arms, Bruni has a movable tail and a mouth that can be opened. With chocolate, snowflakes and marshmallows, the picnic is perfect.
«Elsa's sleigh ride around the ice palace» is for little people aged four and over. 216 pieces become a two-storey palace with a throne room, balcony, beds and kitchen. The circular track runs around the 21 centimetre high and 28 centimetre wide building. Three sleigh carriages hold all seven minifigures: Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Bruni and three mini snowmen.
Harry Potter
The set for adults pays homage to the first film in the series. « Philosopher's Stone» includes Hedwig the owl with her wings on, Harry Potter's chest with the Philosopher's Stone and small scenes from the Hogwarts Express. First, however, the more than 1,500 pieces have to be clamped together before the model, which is almost 30 centimetres wide and 24 centimetres high, can be put on the shelf.
«Luna Lovegood's house» for kids aged ten and over is available as a Lego model for the first time. 764 pieces make up the eccentric home with kitchen, Luna's room and Xenophilius' print shop. A Lego light brick projects images from «The Tale of the Three Brothers» onto the wall. The 30-centimetre-high house is home to Luna, Xenophilius, Harry and Hermione.
With 868 parts, the «Flying Ford Anglia» is the most detailed Lego model of the Weasley car to date. With a push on the bumper at the rear, the boot lid and doors pop open. Just like in the film, the luggage flies out when the front bumper is pressed. Ron, Harry and Hedwig go on the journey with children aged 14 and over.
The large «village of Hogsmeade» is once again something for adult fans. 3228 pieces make seven buildings: Honey Pot, Owl Post, Three Broomsticks, Dervish and Banges, Writer's Feather Shop and, for the first time, Zonko's and the Boar's Head. Twelve minifigures are included and bring the 76-centimetre-wide and 30-centimetre-high scene to life.
Lego Iconic
The «Iconic» range focuses on special occasions, legendary film scenes or objects with cult status. One of my personal favourites among the new products is «Tweety». With its 412 pieces, the little canary from «Looney Tunes» simply looks cute. You can either arrange him as Cupid with a bow and arrow, or the little peep can present a bouquet of flowers.
The «Shelby Cobra 427 S/C» is a challenge for adult Lego fans. The detailed replica made of 1241 bricks shows the powerful V8 engine and features working steering. The doors, bonnet and boot are playable. The white racing stripes on the blue bodywork indicate what a powerhouse the car from the 1960s was.
The next two sets are also something for experienced Lego builders.
«Captain Jack Sparrow's pirate ship» is over 60 centimetres long and high. The ghost galleon from «Pirates of the Caribbean» with eight minifigures therefore needs space on the shelf. More than 2800 parts are used to create many details such as rotating adjustment wheels for the cannons and a movable rudder. When displaying, you have the choice between a slightly space-saving, angled mode or with the sails set for the long journey.
«The Simpsons: Krusty Burger» only opens its doors once you have mastered the 1635 pieces of building blocks. The legendary fast food restaurant has a kitchen, dining area, toilet and drive-thru. Homer, Bart, Lisa, farmer Krusty, Tingeltangel Bob, Jeremy Peterson and policeman Lou liven up the building. An advertising pylon and Homer's clown car complete the Springfield scene.
Lego Marvel
The majority of the new models from the Marvel franchise are for younger children.
«Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: Daily Bugle» offers action on four floors. The legendary newspaper building with offices, editorial team and cash vault consists of 781 parts. Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Ghost Spider, J. Jonah Jameson, Mysterio, Venomised Captain America and Rhino are included as figures.
Two fully articulated mechs with minifigure cockpits battle it out in «Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock». Children aged six and over can pit the Spider-Man mech with two shooters and the Doc Ock mech with its four movable tentacles against each other.
A legendary scene from «Avengers: Age of Ultron» can be re-enacted with «Duel of the Giants». At «Spider-Man vs. Sandman» there is a three-storey tree house with a cannon and swinging vine, Sandman with a giant arm and Venom with tentacles. Spider-Man swings from the tower on a rope.
The set «Iron Man Mark 3» for adults offers significantly more detail. The articulated figure is 38 centimetres tall and has joints at the neck, hips, shoulders, wrists and hands. Painted details, the base and the name plaque are a visually impressive piece in any display case.
Lego Minecraft
All in all, the hype surrounding the Minecraft game seems to have died down somewhat. So Lego is forging the metal while it's not cold and launching a few new sets aimed at children aged between seven and twelve.
284 pieces make up the «zombie dungeon» with rotating zombie spawning chamber. With pickaxe and club, the aim is to survive against three zombies.
«Mini-Biome» shows five worlds. A mountain with a stalactite cave, a flower forest, mushroom fields with a coral reef, a desert with a temple and a savannah with an outpost. Steve, Creeper, Mushroom Cow, Desert Zombie and Scavenger populate the miniature world. A rotating day/night background rounds off the set.
«Steve's Adventure in the Taiga» offers a quick start with just 79 pieces. It consists of a taiga biome with spruce, TNT explosion function and treasure chest. Steve scares off the creeper with his diamond sword while the fox and baby rabbit look on.
Lego Ninjago
The ninja world is celebrating its anniversary. The company has already announced that there will be much more to come this year.
«15th anniversary: Ninja characters on display» honours the TV series. 447 pieces make up a four-storey monastery with steps, hinged gate, stone lantern and cherry tree. Eight minifigures - Kai, Zane, Cole, Jay, Lloyd, Wu, Samurai X and the elemental master of lightning - fit on the nineteen centimetre high, fourteen centimetre wide and eight centimetre deep stand.
The legendary forge with bedroom and workshop with many details honours the origins of Ninjago. Maya, Ray, Nya, Blacksmith Kai, Master Wu and, for the first time, the Elemental Master of Earth are included as characters in this set. If you want to assemble the almost 1,300 components, you should already have some experience with Lego.
The models are much quicker to assemble for children aged seven and over.
«Jay's transformation speedster» can switch to dragon mode and has rotating throwing stars. Jay, Nya, Earth Monster and Loyalist Leader battle for the twenty-centimetre-long vehicle, which consists of around 380 parts.
«The dragon of life» has movable jaws, head, neck, ankles, claws and tail. Zane, Sora, Arin, acid monsters, earth monsters and loyalist leaders go into battle. A tree with a hiding place for a golden sword further enlivens the scene.
Lego Speed Champions
The Speed Champions vehicles are less than twenty centimetres long, are small in scale, have a rather simple design and can therefore be used quickly for races.
Children aged nine and over can assemble Marty McFly and Doc Brown's DeLorean from «Back to the Future» using either the lightning rod from the first part of the film series or the fusion generator from part two.
Twenty years have passed since the film «Cars» was released in cinemas. «Lightning McQueen» with his typical yellow and orange lightning bolt, the starting number 95 and the «Rust-Eze» logo can now also do his laps in the children's room.
With just under 340 parts, it doesn't take long for the enclosed racing driver to climb into the «Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale». The most powerful road-legal Ferrari impresses with its rear wing, dynamic-looking rims and high exhaust pipes.
The «McLaren W1» is also a super sports car. A highlight of the racing car manufacturer's 50-year history. The model comes in the brand's typical livery and has an adjustable rear wing.
Lego Star Wars
The Death Star with its 9023 pieces towers over all the Lego novelties in the franchise. 38 minifigures populate the 70-centimetre-high, 79-centimetre-wide and 27-centimetre-deep model, which features all the key scenes from the film: the trash compactor, Princess Leia's cell, hangar control room, tractor beam control, throne room and superlaser.
If you don't have that much space at home or simply don't want to spend a fortune, you're sure to find something to your taste among the other new products.
The «AT-AT» brings the battle of Hoth home. The fighter with snowspeeder including tow rope consists of 525 parts. Including stand with name plate, a beautiful decoration.
The «astromech droid BB-8» from «The Force Awakens» moves its head when it is rolled over a surface. The fire arm is hidden under a flap.
Cobb Vanth and Cad Bane battle it out on Tatooine in the second season of «The Mandalorian». What's still missing? That's right, the speeder with adjustable steering wings and a secret compartment for Boba Fett's helmet.
Apropos Mandalorian: «Grogus' home» can also be created by children aged four and over from just under 100 building blocks. The fireplace, cooking pot, marshmallow and two blue biscuits that fit into Grogu's tummy are sure to win over little fans with their cuteness factor.
With the «Siege of Mandalore», kids aged six and up can step back in time to the «Clone Wars». Speeder with blaster, a barricade with cannon and two Mandalorian Super Commandos and Clone Troopers from the 332nd Company are ready for battle.
Lego Technic
Lego Technic makes mechanics tangible. In my opinion, Lego has found a good mix of different levels of complexity with the latest new releases.
The «Porsche 911 GT3 R Rexy AO Racing» is a long-distance racing car that can be steered using a knob. The wheels have suspension, the doors can be opened and the rear-wheel drive with the 6-cylinder boxer engine has a differential. Once the almost 1,300 parts have been put together, you are left with a model that is almost forty centimetres long and sixteen centimetres wide.
Ford successfully challenged the Italian racing team Ferrari in the 1960s with the «GT40 MKII». The set is recommended for ages 18 and up. The motorsport icon can also be steered using a knob. The bonnet opens with the lever on the inside, revealing the V8 engine.
The «Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport» also shows attention to detail. The bonnet and doors of this hypercar can be opened. The set also includes a code for the game «Asphalt Legends».
The forestry machine from «John Deere» with the typical paintwork is not quite as fast. The boom can be swivelled through 180 degrees and has a functioning grapple. The rocker suspension and articulated steering are also modelled exactly on the large prototype.
The «NASA Artemis SLS heavy-duty rocket» has three separation stages. The solid booster, core stage and upper stage with rescue rocket are released one after the other using the rotating crank. Four astronauts, blue flame elements and an information board complete the 70-centimetre-high model.
