- Perfect size, fits well on the desk
- Printing costs should become significantly smaller

All in all a good choice
After just under 1 week in use, not too much can be said yet.
The set-up went without a hitch. I don't understand why the print heads aren't already inserted at the factory, but it's not a problem to insert them.
The print speed is absolutely fine for me for home use only. If someone wants very fast prints, there are probably better products.
I don't print photos, so the quality of the colour prints is right for me.
The printer comes with 5 ink bottles: 1x blue, 1x red, 1x yellow and 3x black (1x first filling and 2x reserve).
The only drawback is the display: very small and not even illuminated: Canon could have done better.Pro

Away with cartridges!
We use it with Ethernet with 3 Windows 10 PCs. a two clicks and it was ready to print and scan. Refilling with ink was extremely easy and not a drop missed. I keep the vials though in case the original refill bottles get too expensive (which I doubt).
I'm glad that there are still devices that simply do what they are supposed to and I'm curious if it will run as well in a few years as it does now...Pro

Powerful, fast printer
Basically a good device. Fast. Enormously high printing performance thanks to the large tanks; three black tanks are included. The paper feed on the back is very flimsy and does not feel particularly stable. The display leaves a lot to be desired. Display is dark. You can hardly see which menu you are in. Very difficult to get used to within the menu. Had previously a PixmaMX925. Also a great device, cost half of the G6050 and had a much better control panel.
