LG Oled xxC9 / RTX3090 - 4K@120hz&HDR not working.
The cable only transfers a signal if you cap at 60hz, take out deep color on the TV (which sucks) and switch off HDR on Windows.
I have been researching and researching and now wasted hours of another research to try to fix it. Maybe the issue is with its length, altough by careful research I learned with an optical compatible cable there should be no issue up to 50m given it specs to go 4K@120&HDR.
Maybe that conclusion is BS, but the whole 2.1 debacle past year and the quirk of manufacterers to promise things their products and technology can not hold and to fix it so badly with half-baked workarounds should not be allowed.
So far if i can not find the fix to bring it to work it was complete expensive waste of money and everyone with the intention to attach it to your TV with .
The whole time consuming and frustrating experience, and the waste of almost 180.- for a freaking cable leaves me with a 1 Star rating overall which might be changed if i can fix it.
i feel you. I have pretty much same problem. (LG oled C1 and 3080)
i bought a 10m cable before for 80. this turned out to have artefacts and black screens all the time.
now i bought this for 160.
Not only was there a 3m-5m USB cable in my box the first time.
After i returned it and got the right cable i checked the hdmi certified (with QR code and app).
It seemed legit but the exact same sh*t again. Not sure if they put a cable that failed into my box since they managed to put and usb cable the first time.
anyway 1 star. if you find something that works please tell me i have the same constant frustration since the moment i got this tv a month ago.
Also gonna tell you if i have an Solution. Good luck!I just got from Digitec the 15m Version of the same cable (5 stars for Digitecs Support here). And this one, even though shorter, caps already at 1080p@60hz. 😂😂😂

The Ruipo Cable listet in previous Post works on a first testrun flawless with the LG C9 and the RTX3090!

The only thing i do not understand (yet) is i can not choose RGB FULL, as it will automaticly always set back to YCbCr444 / Limited.
But beside that, it works. (Including Deep Color and Gaming Response on C9).10m variant here connected from 3090 to LG Oled Tv. I have sudden blackout issues, if I turn off the PC or goes to sleep I have to reconnect the cable to the video card to work.
