The No Polish Connector (NPC) enables quick on-site installation of bend-resistant cables with bend-insensitive single-mode fibers, ranging from 1.6 to 3 mm in thickness. The SC/PC and SC/APC compatible connectors feature a factory-polished ferrule and a mechanical splice that can be installed without any installation tools. A screwed-on sleeve secures the aramid fiber within the threads and clamps the cable jacket by compressing the jacket holder. Both connectors use standard flat splices for the connection.
