The ABB power contactor is a compact and versatile solution for controlling power circuits, capable of switching motors as well as lightly inductive or non-inductive loads. The range from AF116 to AF750 offers a wide variety of control options with just four coils, covering control voltages from 20 to 500 VDC and 24 to 500 VAC. This flexibility allows for use in various applications worldwide without the need for additional extinguishing components. Models AF116 to AF370 are also available in variants that can be directly controlled by a PLC, while from AF400 onwards, a PLC input is standardly integrated. Additionally, up to two 2-pole auxiliary contacts can be mounted, meeting the requirements of IEC60947-5-1. The range is complemented by various accessories such as terminal covers and wiring aids, further simplifying installation and use.
