Chiyuki is a student with dreams: firstly, to become a screenwriter like her late mother, and secondly, to find her father, whom she has never met. Chiyuki lives alone and has no romantic experience, struggling to write stories about love. However, one day, while searching for clues about her father's identity, Chiyuki discovers that he may have been involved in the production of a romantic drama based on a script her mother wrote before she was born.

By a stroke of luck, Chiyuki lands a job as an assistant for an upcoming film, where she works alongside the sons of her mother's former soap opera colleagues. But things take an even more surprising turn when she is cast as the female love interest in the film!
