Product details

The FR-300OE has an optimal range. It also features VOX control. It has access to 16 channels and 38 CTCSS codes. CTCSS (Continuous Tone Controlled Squelch System) is a noise suppression system. It allows multiple users to share a radio channel without interference. When transmitting with the IPX7 walkie-talkie, an inaudible code is sent. Only when the tone code of the transmitting device matches the tone code of the receiving device will the receiving device reproduce the signal. This prevents interference from other transmitters communicating on the same channel.
