When charging, the Apple Watch automatically switches to alarm mode, allowing you to be woken up by it. The magnetic Apple Watch charging dock uses the same inductive connector for charging that comes with the Apple Watch. You can charge all models and sizes of the Apple Watch with it. It connects via the Lightning to USB cable and the Apple 5W USB power adapter.
