Product details

The 28-inch TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A 4K UHD gaming monitor impresses with a Fast IPS panel and nVidia G-Sync compatibility for lightning-fast gaming at 144Hz. The smart combination of Display Stream Compression
(DSC), ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) and AMD FreeSync Premium enables buttery smooth PC gaming. Console gamers also get their money's worth, as the TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A supports up to 4K resolution at 120Hz via HDMI 2.1 without chroma subsampling. It also complies with DisplayHDR-400 standards and has a DCI-P3 color space of 90% to provide exceptional colors and contrast.

The liquid crystal elements of the ASUS Fast IPS display switch up to four times faster than traditional IPS panels for faster response. This way, you'll experience fast-paced games in all their glory - and without lag, even at the highest graphics settings.

The TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A takes advantage of HDR technology to deliver more vibrant colors and higher contrasts compared to traditional monitors.

The TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A supports ELMB Sync software, which allows ELMB to be used simultaneously with Adaptive Sync technology to eliminate ghosting and tearing for exceptionally sharp gaming graphics at high frame rates.

Integrated ASUS Variable Overdrive technology allows the display to dynamically change its overdrive setting as the refresh rate fluctuates to ensure optimal results for each game. You get to choose how strong you want the overall effect to be, and then leave it up to the monitor to make it happen.

Technically, the Asus ROG Strix XG43UQ is up to date. Only more dimmable backlight zones would be desirable. The monitor is fun to use in games, but only in a limited fps range. The quirks with the incorrectly dosed overdrive and the black aura around highlights in HDR mode with active backlight dimming are unworthy of a 1500-euro display...
