The US221A is a peripheral switch with two USB 2.0 ports that allows two computers to share access to a single USB peripheral device, such as a printer, scanner, or mass storage device, in a time-sharing manner. It offers easy port selection via push buttons, a configuration tool, or automatic port switching. The automatic switching means that no print server is required. The device complies with USB 2.0 specifications and supports data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps. It is cross-platform compatible with both Windows and Macintosh. LED indicators display the currently selected port.
