The XD3-40d is a 4-inch (118 mm) direct thermal desktop barcode printer and label printer that features a compact design, essential industry characteristics, and competitive pricing, making it ideal for labeling applications in manufacturing, retail, warehousing, and logistics. The standard XD3-40d model offers fast data processing and print speeds of up to 5 ips (127 mm/s) at 203 dpi, producing high-quality text, graphics, and barcodes on label material.

The XD3-40d supports standalone configuration with a visual LED and a media roll diameter of up to 127 mm. It allows for easy paper loading with an adjustable paper guide and holder, as well as an optional peel-off device and external paper feed. To further simplify operations, the label printer also offers maintenance-free handling of the roll and print head.

The XD3-40d comes standard with a USB port and offers optional USB V2.0, serial, and Ethernet connections. It is compatible with leading programming languages such as SLCS, BPL-Z™, and BPL-E™, and supports Smart Switch programming languages for seamless integration into existing and current installations.
