Additional features of the XM7-40 include its sturdy, compact design, an integrated peeler, a TFT color display, as well as an IP54 rating (splash and dust resistant) and drop resistance from a height of 2.1 meters. Equipped with an intelligent battery with universal USB Type-C Power Delivery charging, this mobile label printer provides a wealth of information about the battery status through BIXOLON's web-based printer profile management software XPM™, ensuring consistent performance even during continuous operation. For seamless connectivity, the XM7-40 comes with USB 2.0 and serial interfaces as standard, along with optional wireless MFi-certified Bluetooth V5.0 Classic and WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n technology, allowing the printer to be connected simultaneously. Support for Easy Bluetooth Pairing via NFC ensures compatibility with common operating systems including Android™, iOS™, and Windows®. The printer is compatible with all leading command languages such as SLCS, BPL-Z™, BPL-C™, and BXL/POS, allowing for seamless integration into existing customer systems. With a standard 125 MB SRAM, 256 MB flash memory, and optional 256 MB SDRAM, 512 MB flash memory, countless fonts and graphics can be stored alongside firmware upgrades and tools.
