With the 200 series, BOSS introduces a new, compact generation of pedals that impresses with high-quality sound, exceptional versatility, and minimal space requirements on your pedalboard. Thanks to intuitive controls and multifunctional switches, operation is simple and intuitive. Additional convenience is provided by the internal memory slots, allowing you to immediately access your own setups when needed. The high audio quality of the 200 series pedals is based on 32-bit AD/DA conversion, 32-bit internal signal processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate. Furthermore, you can optionally control the pedals via external switches, an expression pedal, or MIDI.

The EQ-200 is the most flexible compact equalizer ever developed for guitarists and bassists. It features two extensive 10-band EQ channels as well as an integrated graphic display to show the currently selected EQ curve. The two channels can be configured for parallel, serial, or stereo operation. At the same time, external pedals can be connected to process signals before or after the internal EQ. Additionally, you can switch the mid frequencies of the ten EQ bands between three different types to adapt the EQ-200 flexibly to various instruments.

With its revised design, 32-bit/96 kHz processing unit, and extremely low self-noise, the EQ-200 enables precise sound processing based on the highest signal quality. Each frequency band can be attenuated or boosted by 15 dB. Moreover, each channel has a level control that allows you to match the processed signal to the bypass signal or add an extra level boost. The mid frequencies of the bands can be switched between three types. This way, you can tailor the sound processing of the EQ-200 to various instruments—from electric and acoustic guitars to basses and other instruments.
