Product details
This 70-200 mm telephoto zoom lens, designed for video and photography, offers additional flexibility and reach. With exceptional quality and versatility, it is the ideal companion for both photography and video.
With a versatile focal length range of 70-200 mm, it allows for impressive photos and smooth video recordings, while the high aperture of f/2.8 provides an attractive background blur. The optical image stabilizer compensates for up to 5.5 stops of exposure, ensuring sharp results – with a camera featuring in-body stabilization, even more stops are possible.
Two Super UD lenses, one UD lens, three aspherical lenses, along with ASC and Super Spectra coatings, prevent aberrations, ghosting, and flare. Additionally, a fluorine coating protects the front lens from dirt.
The dedicated aperture ring allows for smooth aperture adjustments. In video mode, this is possible in 1/32 stop increments. An unlock switch for the "Auto" position enables better control, and the 11-blade iris diaphragm creates an attractive circular bokeh.
The Dual Nano USM ensures smooth autofocus. Professional video features such as electronically supported parfocal zoom for high focus stability during zooming and focus breathing suppression provide sharp and stable recordings.
Optional power zoom adapters can be operated manually or via the Canon Camera Connect app, EOS Utility, browser remote, or over IP with compatible cameras. The 20-pin interface also supports zoom and focus controls as well as zoom rocker switches.
