The C.A 1725 is easy to use with its rotary switch. Measurements can be taken in various ways, either contactless or with contact.
For contactless optical measurements, a reflective mark is attached to the object being measured. For contact measurements using accessories, rotational speeds are converted into pulses by a mechanical adapter (cylinder, cone, or measuring wheel), which are then recorded by the tachometer.
The digital display shows a bar graph with 42 segments, set functions, alarm thresholds, and more. The 7 measurement units (RPM, Hz, etc.) can be accessed directly via the rotary switch, and each button is assigned a specific function (MIN, MAX, smoothing, alarm thresholds, etc.).
