The Delock HDMI EDID Emulator 8K bidirectional is a versatile adapter designed to optimize signal transmission between HDMI sources and displays. By emulating a monitor, this adapter ensures that the signal source remains active even without a connected screen, preventing unwanted signal shutdowns or resolution changes. The emulator comes equipped with a standard set of EDID/DDC data but can also read and store the EDID data from a connected monitor, allowing for customization. The bidirectional functionality of the adapter provides additional flexibility, as the EDID data can be supplied through both the HDMI plug and the HDMI socket. With a maximum resolution of up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and support for HDR and HDCP, this emulator is ideal for high-resolution applications.
