Product details

Denon presents the DNP-730AE, a network audio player with virtually unlimited playback possibilities. By simply connecting it to a stereo amplifier, it offers existing hi-fi systems access to the world of network streaming, including WLAN, all while delivering the renowned Denon sound quality.

With built-in WLAN technology, the DNP-730AE connects to the Internet over the existing home network to access thousands of Internet radio stations and the popular Spotify Connect streaming service. AirPlay also lets you play your favorite songs wirelessly from a portable iOS device such as an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. For additional streaming options, DLNA 1.5 certification allows you to connect a PC or Mac to your home network.

The DNP-730AE can play any current digital audio format from a USB memory or via the network connection. Supported file types include standard formats such as MP3, MP4, and AAC, as well as lossless formats like ALAC, AIFF, WAV, and FLAC HD (up to 24 bit, 192 kHz). The DNP-730AE is also capable of playing back DSD files (with a resolution of 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz) popular in audiophile circles via DLNA streaming. Gapless playback of DSD, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, and ALAC files is also available.

To achieve the high sound quality of the DNP-730AE, Denon engineers have carefully tuned the sound and selected the perfect components for the product. The player is equipped with the high-precision 32-bit/192 kHz PCM1795 D/A converter, which is also used in Denon's premium CD players. Thanks to this transducer, even the finest details of music can be enjoyed in remarkable quality, including the acoustic resonance of concert halls. Simple, short, and clear signal paths ensure unadulterated sound reproduction, while the built-in jitter reducer provides particularly precise and pure sound.
