The LMDS200 is an 868MHz waterproof LoRaWAN sensor node equipped with a microwave radar distance sensor. This sensor utilizes 24GHz microwaves to measure the distance between objects. Compared to ultrasound or lidar, this method offers enhanced reliability. Even in extremely dusty or humid conditions, the microwave sensor delivers dependable and accurate measurement data. Powered by an 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery, the LMDS200 is designed for long-term use of up to 5 years (refer to documentation for exact runtime specifications). The LoRa component of the module is based on the SX1276, enabling data transmission over long distances at low data rates. It features broadband spread communication and high noise immunity with minimal power consumption. Each LMDS200 comes pre-loaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration, which are registered on the local LoRaWAN server, allowing the LMDS200 to automatically connect after power-up if network coverage is available.
