The new Drobo generation with improved system architecture features four drive bays. Existing Drobo customers can install their drives into the new Drobo and immediately benefit from the enhanced performance. In the event of drive failures, the new generation can restore the old data structure up to four times faster.

Drobo not only protects against drive failures but also against power outages. The built-in battery ensures a safe shutdown during a power failure.

Setting up Drobo is very simple. As soon as more than one drive is installed, your data is at least doubly protected. If you want to increase capacity, just remove one drive and replace it with a larger capacity drive. Once the synchronization is connected, you can already replace another drive.

The operation is like that of an external hard drive; simply connect it to your PC or Mac via USB 3.0.
