The relatively small and lightweight DZOFilm VESPID 25mm T2.1 lens is part of the VESPID lens series from DZOFilm and is excellent for independent and high-end full-frame cinematography. The lens has a front diameter of 80 mm, allowing it to be used with virtually any cine-style matte box. Its compact size makes this lens an attractive option for working with drones and gimbals, as well as for handheld or run-and-gun shooting. The interchangeable PL mount and the included EF mount enable the use of the fully manual lens on a variety of modern and vintage film cameras, while the full-frame coverage supports sensors with an image circle of up to 46.5 mm, allowing for use on cameras with sensors up to full-frame without vignetting. The 16-blade aperture, used in all VESPID prime lenses, creates out-of-focus highlights that contribute to the lens's naturally pleasing bokeh. The focus ring rotates 270°, and the aperture ring has a generous rotation range of 64°. The cine-style gears on the focus and aperture rings make the lens compatible with cine accessories such as follow-focus units, lens motors, and lens control systems. The lens features a magnetically attached rear filter for ND filters.
