The 509NE7 is a self-activating panic lock with a motorized drive for double-leaf doors. It meets the requirements for burglary-resistant doors, fire doors, escape doors, and panic doors in accordance with EN 179 and EN 1125. A mechanical sequence control system reliably prevents unwanted extension of the bolt when the door is open. The lock can be used universally for DL/DR with a universal double action latch and switchable control latch.
It features an integrated electronic control device for external triggering or connection to the ASSA ABLOY Hi/O bus system. Integrated monitoring functions via contactless sensors allow for status queries through the external OneSystem IO module, including door status via strike plate contact, bolt retracted and extended, cylinder monitoring, and handle follower monitoring.
The lock includes an integrated motorized drive and offers external activation without additional control, with additional functions available through the external OneSystem IO module. Hi-O bus technology enables connection to the ASSA ABLOY Hi-O bus system.
The lock has uniform connection technology using 2-wire bus technology and a 6 mm full face plate for added security. It features uniform lock case dimensions, compatible with 309N/319N (mechanical) and 809N/819N (electro-mechanical). It is suitable for DIN left/right use thanks to the universal double action latch and reversible control latch. Security fittings and oval roses can be screwed on through the lock.
The lock is equipped with solid, surface-hardened deadbolts with a 20 mm throw and transverse shear stress of 20,000 N. There is one variant for Euro profile cylinder and Swiss round profile cylinder. Please note that the connection cable must be ordered separately.
