Universal dimmer switch with automatic lamp detection. Standby loss is only 0.1 watts. Minimum or maximum brightness and dimming speed are adjustable. Equipped with children's room and snooze functions. The dimmer switch is dependent on ventilation conditions and supports dimmable energy-saving lamps (ESL) as well as dimmable 230V LED lamps, depending on the lamp electronics. Switching occurs at zero crossing with soft start and soft off to protect the lamp. There is a universal control voltage that is galvanically isolated from the supply and switching voltage. No minimum load is required. Short control commands turn the light on or off, while a continuous signal adjusts the brightness to the maximum value. Interrupting the control signal changes the dimming direction. The set brightness level is saved when turned off (memory). In the event of a power failure, the switching position and brightness level are saved and can be turned on again when the supply voltage returns. From 110V control voltage, the glow lamp current is 5mA. An automatic electronic overload protection and over-temperature shut-off are also included.
