By using a bistable relay, there is no coil loss power and no heating even when switched on. The relay contact can be open or closed at startup and synchronizes on the first activation. This relay is not suitable for feedback with the switching voltage of a dimmer switch. The electronics do not have their own power supply and therefore have no standby loss. Only when the control contact is closed is the microcontroller activated, which switches the bistable relay in the correct direction. When the control contact is opened or the control voltage drops, it switches back.
