The VMA00102 adapter allows you to connect headphones or a HiFi system via the HDMI-ARC port of a television, supporting both Full HD and Ultra HD. With this adapter, you can output sound from the TV through RCA (stereo) and a 3.5mm jack simultaneously. The volume can be conveniently controlled using the TV remote, as the adapter supports HDMI-CEC. The audio output only works in stereo mode, so the audio format on the TV must be set to "PCM" or "LPCM Stereo." Formats like Dolby Digital or multi-channel PCM are not supported and will not produce any sound signal. The adapter converts the audio signal from HDMI into an analog stereo signal and outputs it through RCA and the jack. A USB port is needed for power, which can be provided by the TV, for example.
