1- and 3-phase test adapter with type 2 plug for testing the effectiveness of protective measures at e-charging stations with the Profitest Master. It simulates fictitiously connected electric vehicles as well as the current carrying capacity of charging sets according to IEC 61851-1.

For vehicle simulation (CP), vehicle states A to E are set via a rotary switch.

For cable simulation (PP), the different codings for charging cables with 13, 20, 32, and 63 A, as well as "no cable connected," can be simulated via a rotary switch.

Fault simulation includes the simulation of a short circuit between CP and PE via a rotary switch. Phase voltages are displayed via LEDs, and depending on the e-charging station, one or three phases can be active.

Testing of e-charging stations with permanently connected charging cable is done via an extended CP test pin.

For vehicle simulation (CP) according to IEC 61851, the states A, B, C, D, and E can be simulated. The different vehicle states are set via the rotary switch:

  • State A: No vehicle connected
  • State B: Vehicle connected but not ready for charging
  • State C: Vehicle connected and ready for loading, ventilation of the loading area not required
  • State D: Vehicle connected and ready for charging, ventilation of the charging area required
  • State E: Error: short circuit CP-PE via internal diode

For cable simulation (PP), it is possible to simulate the different codings for charging cables with 13, 20, 32, and 63 A. The "no cable" condition can also be simulated. The simulation of the different charging cables is done by switching different resistances between PP and PE using the rotary switch. According to IEC 61851, the following values are possible:

  • No cable: 0 Ω
  • 13 A cable: 1.5 kΩ
  • 20 A cable: 680 Ω
  • 32 A cable: 220 Ω
  • 63 A cable: 100 Ω.
