The AFG-3032 function generator from GW Instek is a highly advanced measuring instrument that offers direct digital signal generation (DDS) with a bandwidth of up to 30 MHz. With two independent channels, it enables the generation of a variety of standard signals, including sine, square, ramp, and pulse. Additionally, the generator supports complex modulation types such as AM, FM, PWM, and FSK, as well as sweep and burst functions. The 10.9 cm LCD graphic color monitor clearly displays all relevant parameters and waveforms. A USB interface allows for remote control via a computer, and the ability to generate and transfer arbitrary waveforms using specialized software significantly enhances functionality. In combination with the GDS-3000 series storage oscilloscopes, measured signals can be digitally regenerated, further increasing the device's application possibilities.
