Safety and warning notices

The device is powered by hazardous mains voltage. Therefore, never attempt to make any modifications yourself and do not insert anything into the ventilation openings. There is a risk of electric shock. Do not operate the device and immediately unplug it from the outlet if there are visible damages to the device or the power cord, if there is suspicion of a defect after a fall or similar, or if malfunctions occur. In any case, take the device to a specialized workshop for repair. Use the device only indoors and protect it from dripping and splashing water, high humidity, and heat (permissible operating temperature range 0 - 40 °C). Never pull the power plug out of the socket by the cable; always grasp the plug itself. The heat generated by the device must be dissipated through air circulation. Therefore, do not cover the ventilation openings of the housing. If the device is to be permanently taken out of service, hand it over to a local recycling facility for environmentally friendly disposal.
