These connectors allow for easy and quick connections to any High-Speed CAN/CAN FD product. They are used when a CAN node needs to be terminated without an internal connection or when there is no CAN node connected at the end of the CAN bus. According to ISO 11898-2, High-Speed CAN buses/systems must be terminated with resistors at their ends. The D-Sub termination plug can also be used for CAN FD buses.
