The Jinbei KE Quickly Open Deep Softbox is a softbox that provides soft lighting for fashion, beauty, glamour, and portrait photography. Unlike other softboxes, it produces more direct light with higher contrast and harsher shadows on the subject. The softbox is equipped with a Bowens S-Type mount, making it compatible with many battery/studio flash units or LED continuous lights with the appropriate connection. Thanks to the click mechanism of the rods, the light modifier can be easily and quickly set up, making it ready for use in the studio or on location. To set it up, you simply extend the rods until they click into place and attach the Deep Softbox to the light source. The easiest way to do this is to extend opposite rods one after the other. Disassembling the softbox is just as simple: lift the individual rods slightly at the speedring base, press the corresponding button, and then release the rod.

The Jinbei KE Quickly Open Deep Softbox offers many possibilities for light shaping. The two included diffusers, the smaller inner diffuser and the front diffuser, scatter the light reflected from the silver interior coating and create soft shadow transitions for even illumination.

Additionally, they reduce the formation of reflections on smooth surfaces like skin, which is why they are often used in portrait and beauty photography. The 16-sided construction also results in an almost round softbox shape, which is noticeable in the naturally appearing round light reflections in a model's eyes.

With the included grid, you achieve a more intense, directed light. The honeycomb grid allows you to illuminate your subject more precisely and controlled. When using the grid without diffusers, you work with harder, more contrast-rich, and direct light.
