Product details
The Mega Board is the right microcontroller board for those who want to quickly and easily enter the world of programming. You will find a variety of tutorials and guides online for this microcontroller board, providing you with a simple introduction to programming. Its ATMega2560 microcontroller offers enough power for your ideas and projects. It measures 101.52 mm x 53.3 mm and features 54 digital input/output pins as well as 16 analog inputs, providing many connection options. In addition to all the features of the previous board, the MEGA now uses an ATMega16U2 instead of the Atmega8U2 chip. This allows for faster transfer rates and more memory. No drivers are required for Linux or Mac (a .inf file for Windows is included and available in the Arduino IDE), and it is possible to emulate the Uno as a keyboard, mouse, or joystick. The MEGA2560 R3 also now includes SDA and SCL pins alongside the AREF. Additionally, it has two new pins near the reset pin, one of which is an IOREF that allows shields to take on the board's voltage.
