The insertable resistance thermometer with connection cable allows for temperature measurement in gaseous and liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The protective tube is made of material 1.4571 and has dimensions of 4 x 50 mm. The connection cable is designed for operation in humid environments. Therefore, the resistance thermometer is preferably used for temperature measurements in sterilizers. The special design also allows for use in steam-containing, pressurized atmospheres up to 5.0 bar. Additional application areas include apparatus construction and laboratory technology. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (Class A) is configured as 1 x Pt100 in a four-wire circuit and is intended for temperatures from -70 to +200 °C. The 2.5 m long connection cable is made of FEP and is strain-relieved at the transition. The permissible ambient temperature of the connection cable is -70 to +200 °C. The open connection end is equipped with wire end sleeves according to DIN 46228 Part 4.
