The JUNG area/line coupler is a specialized accessory for walkie-talkies that enables a reliable connection between different KNX lines, segments, or areas. This device ensures galvanic isolation between the connected lines, which is crucial for the safety and integrity of data transmission. The coupler can be configured as an area coupler, line coupler, segment coupler, or amplifier, depending on the specific requirements of the installation. It is easily mounted on a DIN rail according to DIN EN 60715 in a sub-distribution board. With compatibility for KNX Data Secure from ETS 5.7.7 or ETS 6.1.0, the area/line coupler offers additional security by allowing unencrypted and encrypted lines to be connected via a Secure Proxy. Manual operation allows for the deactivation of filter functions when needed, enhancing the flexibility and adaptability of the device.
