The Opsix mk II Altered FM synthesizer is based on the original Opsix sound engine and its polyphony has been expanded to 64 voices. The Opsix operator mixer simplifies working with FM synthesis in an unprecedented way, making it not only comprehensible but also easy to manage. It expands synthesis possibilities in a subtractive direction and programmability through its modulation matrix. Furthermore, it is compatible with sounds from the original Opsix and Opsix Native software, including those from numerous third-party sound libraries.

At the core of every sound is the Opsix mk II operator mixer – a handy row of six sliders and knobs to explore the additive effects on sound. The sliders are red in carrier mode and blue as modulators. These straightforward, accessible controls are part of the unique character of the Opsix mk II, much like the sounds it offers. Last but not least, Opsix's highly flexible and powerful architecture is based on six-operator FM. As a result, it easily produces recognizable sounds from the 80s to today – with greater polyphony than ever before in an FM synthesizer.
