The Lindy KVM Over IP Extender System allows for the control of a source device such as a PC or PVR accessory over a standard network. This transmitter must be connected for a standard point-to-point control system with one or more receivers, enabling distances of up to 150 meters. A decentralized control system can also be set up to manage a device connected to the transmitter via multiple consoles, each connected to a receiver through a dedicated Ethernet switch or VPN. This extender system includes a convenient IR amplifier system for dedicated use of a remote control from the console. It is a typical solution for security systems, remote server administration, or extending AV signals via IP.
