Four years after the brutal military occupation, America is on its knees. Philadelphia - once the birthplace of independence - has become a ghetto where surveillance drones and armored patrols keep the population in check, brutally suppressing any dissenting opinions. Its once proud citizens live in a police state that forces them to collaborate just to survive, having long extinguished their dreams of freedom.
Yet in the wasteland of the Red Zone, in the bombed-out streets and abandoned subways, a resistance is forming. A guerrilla force determined to fight for their freedoms against overwhelming odds and spark the second American Revolution. But freedom always comes at a price.
Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first-person shooter where you must lead the resistance in a guerrilla war against a superior force. A sprawling city reacts to your actions - you and your resistance cell can incite a rebellion on the streets and turn the occupation into a revolution as the oppressed civilians take up the fight.
Your enemy has the advantage - superior technology, firepower, heavy armor, and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare - ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception - and engage in a running battle through the war-torn suburbs of Philadelphia.
The single-player campaign is just the beginning - in co-op mode, you and your friends can form your own resistance cell and become heroes of the revolution.
