Product details

Malter CPL HD filters feature a special professional design. The ground diamond pattern provides a robust grip and a distinctive appearance. The aluminum frame with a diamond pattern offers a professional look and a secure hold. The MC multi-coating prevents unwanted reflections. The ultra-matte black coating on the optical glass with original Japanese Polaroid film allows for extremely comfortable rotation. The filter lets both light and reflections pass through, enabling the lens to achieve nearly invisible lighting. This way, the light source, usually a reflection of the lighting setup, can be fully adjusted and made practically invisible. When photographing objects behind glass, such as in a museum, the mirror effect of the glass can be suppressed with a polarizing filter. Additionally, a polarizing filter can enhance the visibility of fish and plants in a pond, which is nearly impossible without a filter. Another effect of using a polarizing filter is that a cloudy sky gains much more contrast. These effects depend on the angle at which the polarizing filter is used.
