The fan timer relay has been specifically designed for controlling two-stage motors. The start and stop delays are separate and infinitely adjustable. The control is done with a two-stage switch. The two interlocked outputs are used to control the motor protectors.

Functionality:
1. When directly selecting stage 2, stage 1 is first activated for the set starting time, allowing the fan to reach its rated speed. Stage 2 is then activated.
2. When switching from stage 2 back to stage 1 or to OFF, a stop delay is triggered, allowing the fan to coast down before stage 1 is activated.
3. If stage 1 has already been activated for at least the set starting time, the switch to stage 2 occurs immediately. When switching from stage 1 to stage 2, the interruption must not exceed 250 ms. If this time is exceeded, the process follows the description in point 1.
