It features a large, illuminated color display and eight programmable keys for quick access to frequently used functions. The Aastra 622d is equipped with a Bluetooth interface and can optionally be fitted with a more powerful battery.

It supports up to 5 user profiles, Bluetooth headset support, and DECT encryption.
